    Can't modify Task Scheduler for UpdateOrchestrator even as Admin


    I also seem am unable to run File Explorer as Admin, even though my user Account is an Administrator and belongs to the Administrators group. I have also enabled and logged in as the built-in local system Admin, and receive the same error message about not having rights to disable tasks...

    Windows version 1909 build 18363.476

    That' s because the Task owner is [as shown in your posted diagram] the System 'user'.

    One of the tools for impersonating the System 'user' is MS SysInternals PSExec utility

    If you are trying to disable update orchestra by jobbing its task then consider the alternative of jobbing permissions to its active file, USOClient, instead. See permissions removed from USOClient [post #4 by ,TairikuOkami and several other TenForums threads]
