Hello, please confirm settings are correct and nothing given in this and linked tutorials is disabling the use of 'Hello'.
Enable or Disable Windows Hello Biometrics in Windows 10
Which biometric are you using?
Are all device drivers present - no yellow triangles in Device Manager?
To which updates are you referring specifically?when I updated windows just few days back.
Could you possibly try to answer the questions in my post please?
Also post a screenshot of your Update History as you think it may be update related; include the drivers at the bottom of the list.
This tutorial shows how to enable/disable biometrics.
Please use this to check they are not disabled.
Enable or Disable Windows Hello Biometrics in Windows 10
These are updates.
Thank you - I see nothing obviously related to biometrics there- perhaps you may- and look at Other Updates.
The other questions I asked above are important- e.g. if you answer my question about the Device Manager above, what does this show? I.e. do you have a relevant driver?
Now there are several questions you haven't answered. Please don't try to make me ask them again, in a separate post, one per question. I'm sorry, I'm not doing that.
Could you please read my posts above and answer each question. Thank you.
I am so sorry that I could not get idea about the question related to driver.
I just updated my driver and Windows Hello is back in Action. Thank you so much for your help and patience.
Really thankful.
Windows Hello Issue was solved after updating driver. But Again this driver update failed. It now shows that yellow triangle and Hello stopped working. Any suggestion?
Hi, this looks strange. You appear to have a driver installed, yet a yellow triangle. Properties does not offer Roll-back, suggesting no new driver was installed that might in some way explain this.
Is the installed driver the version you installed? Or has the driver you installed been uninstalled?
How did you update the driver? From the manufacturer's site? via Windows Update? Driver updater tool?...
- after what event? Restart? Update? But Again this driver update failed.
This appears to be your current driver, if this is the one:
