    Change Administrator Email

I recently closed my email account due to excessive spam. How can I change my Administrator Email for Windows 10? I keep getting notifications to Fix my account.

You would have to setup a new admin user

I added another email as an Administrator in 'Add someone else to this PC'. How do I change this email to administrator in the 'Your info' tab?

    Hello Doak,

You can sign in to your Microsoft account online at Microsoft to add the new email address as an alias, make the new email address your primary alias, and remove the old email address as an alias.

Add or Remove Microsoft Account Aliases

Change Primary Alias for Microsoft Account

Next, update the security settings at the Microsoft link below for your Microsoft account for the correct email address.

I have closed the previous email account with Microsoft and I am using the new email account (oneDrive, etc..) The only remnant left of the old email is the Administrator email in Windows 10, hence the notification to Fix the account in Windows 10.

In that case as a workaround to force it to refresh, you can switch your account in Windows 10 to a local account, and then switch it back to a Microsoft account with the correct email address.

Switch to Local Account in Windows 10

Switch to Microsoft Account in Windows 10
