Because i am keep getting microsoft account problem every day, i am planning to start login with local account instead microsoft account. Before i change to local account i would like to ask some question here.
    1. What windows feature will be lost if i am not using mc account?
    2. I am using onedrive as daily cloud storage, will i be able download/upload with local account?
    3. What you cant do in local account but you can do in mc account ?

I use a local account and still get the message. There’s been lot of discussion on the forum about this. It’s likely the result of logging to more than one device with the same username and password. It’s due to MS great level of security.

I am really afraid this problem can get my mc account get banned. Because they think there is something suspicious going on on my account. Is it fine ?

    I don't have a solution, sorry.
But there's the obvious prevention: Never get a Microsoft account.
    It offers no benefit. None.
And, as you've discovered, it creates problems.
    Just don't do it.

You can't Sync settings between devices or transfer activations without a MS account but you don't lose any interesting functionality really.

You can sign into apps individually using a local account it is just slightly more annoying which is why I use MS account.

    Yes.

This is the same as question 1. If you mean is there any functional advantage to using a local account then the answer is no, absolutely nothing. Anything you can do with a local account can be done with a MS account.

There is no truth in this at all. You will not get banned and you can swap from local to MS account and back as often as you like.

You'd have to try really hard to get your MS account banned - storing unencrypted terrorist or other illegal documents in OneDrive perhaps. Swapping back and forward from local to MS account is not suspicious in the slightest.

Thanks for the explanation, i am glad to hear that. I will keep using Microsoft account, and about the microsoft account problem i hope they fix this asap because its freaking annoying to have to click on "fix now" every day to fix this problem. Once again thank you.

I got that in the past with a instance of Windows I would sometimes native boot (like normal) and sometimes run as a VM from macOS. Both were the same partition and both were licensed.

They stopped bugging me to "fix it" eventually but I didn't actually do anything. It just suddenly stopped.

Not a great help I know but they have their algorithms I guess.

I had the same problem with the "fix now" as well until I did a fresh install of Windows with an 1809 image and now use a local account. The problem is now gone.

I've been using a local account for years and have never had a problem. Everything works just fine. I should add that I don't sync anything and don't use One Drive.
