How To Auto Log Onto Win10 Without Entering Password?

I have recently notice that after I changed the name of my PC, my computer no longer automatically logs into Windows after a reboot. It gets hung up on the login screen and now I notice TWO profiles at the lower left hand corner. I don’t need the profile which is highlighted in red. I assume that if I got rid of it, then my problem would be solve. How do I go about getting rid of it?
Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Hello BeK,

You can use netplwiz in the tutorial below to have Windows automatically sign in to your account at startup.

You can use the tutorial below to turn off require sign-in on wakeup.

What are these profiles? You redacted the descriptions in your picture.

Is the top one a duplicate of your Bekure user? One MS account showing email address, one account not showing email perhaps? Did the second appear after renaming the PC? If that is the case turning off auto-login and then turning it on again may fix it (as described in @Brink 's netplwiz tutorial above).

If they are something else (i.e. not the same user) please try to explain what the 2 accounts are (local or Microsoft) and what happens when you log on to them.

The account on top is a Microsoft account and the one on the bottom is a local account I believe. It appeared AFTER I changed the name of my PC.
When I reboot Windows is defaults to the local account and then instead of auto logging in I get this screen.

Also when attempting the netplwiz procedure. There is only my Microsoft account that is present.
I don’t understand why the local account would even attempt to sign in considering it’s not even on the list.

I'd log into the MS account, disable auto-login - using netplwiz untick that "Users must enter a password" box, click apply and reboot.

If you get just one account (the MS one) after you reboot then you can set-up auto-login again.

I'm fairly sure that when netplwiz saves password for auto-logon it includes PC name and changing it breaks this. Normally it displays "Other User" but it is worth a try anyway.

Ah good, so the "Turn it off and on again" solution wins again :)
