Don't know where this User Account came from

I posted this in the User forum but I had no bites so I am trying here. I am not sure how to describe this issue. When my computer reboots, it tries to log into a user account that has the correct name but is not my account. My user account name is Mark. In the left lower corner it shows 3 possible users. Two uses are called Mark. the one with the lightning bolt logo is the correct one. The other is a Macrium account Macrium support set up because I was having issues with the back up. I have no idea where the other user Mark (without a logo) came from. So as I said, when Windows starts, it tries to log into the account called Mark without the logo. I have to click on the account Mark with the logo, enter my password and then Windows starts normally. Here is a picture of my start up screen so you can see what it is doing.

I don't find this user user account without the logo in the Users settings. I wold like for Windows to open directly to the correct account but have no idea how to get that to happen.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

You can get a duplicate name like this, one with a user picture the other without, if you have set up the PC to automatically sign you in and have then changed your password. It tries and fails to log you in with the old password then ends up with a sign in screen exactly like yours, including the words 'reset password' beneath the password box which I can see in your screenshot.

I've recreated the effect by doing just that. My account name 'Owner' now appears twice here...

Thank you. Will the link you posted tell me how to get rid of this problem? I haven't had time to look at it yet. I really need to get rid of it - or will changing the password on that account to the password on my account with the icon solve this issue?

Yes, the tutorial tells you how to set up or turn off auto sign in. Just follow the steps in the tutorial to turn off auto sign in and you should end up with your name appearing only once.

Thank you! Worked like a charm. Only the two expected users show up on the log in screen and the account that it defaults to is the correct one.I appreciate the clarification!!

By default Windows will offer to sign in as the last user who was signed in.
