Anyone having issue with user acc picture like this?

It duplicates. How do I delete the extra one? Only noticed since latest cumulative update. Whatever way round i do it it shows 2 of the other one. Went to hidden user acc pictures folder and just shows generic png pics so cannot see what represents which pic

I know it's just a small superficial thing but it bugs me

The big one is the one you are currently using, the small ones are previously used ones. They are there so you can click on them to change your account picture back to an earlier one without having to browse for the image all over again.

Thanks but the problem is I only used the pic once. If I choose a third it is ok as it’ll be the main with two different ones but as soon as i reboot it shows it twice one large and one small with another different one

The top one of the two small images seems to be for the currently selected image. The lower one is the previously used one. I have only ever set one image, so I just see this....




The current image being displayed here are held in a folder named with your account's GUID in C:\Users\Public\Public Account Pictures

Thanks, that folder has no pics in it unfortunately. I think they are stored in programdata and burrow down to user account pictures. It just shouldnt have two of the same in the recently used small ones. til earlier I only had one large pic. Boot today and notice it was the same in large and the same one small. So i added a new one ( the current one) and then another different one with quirky results pictured in my opening post. I'm a bit baffled. It doesnt seem to be behaving right.

Thank you !!!!! Seems to of done the trick. Why it duped
in first place is anyone’s guess but deleting the dupes seems
to of worked . Hopefully stays that way
