    Safe Mode Password Problem

I’m attempting to boot into Safe Mode using Settings > Update & security > Recovery > Advanced start-up > Restart now > option > Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Start-up Settings > Restart. After restart I use option 4 for Safe Mode. However, when I enter my Microsoft Password I’m told that it is incorrect (I’m not using the PIN).
I later went to my Microsoft account, signed in and changed the password for a simpler to enter one rather than the computer generated one that I was using. When I went through the above process again to enter Safe Mode and entered the simpler password I get the same response.

I’ve made quite a few searches regarding this. The only thing that I can come up with is that there are two passwords for Microsoft accounts, one being ‘local’. I don’t know the difference between the local password and any other that may exist. It seems like a lot of trouble for just getting into Safe Mode using Windows 10.

Is there someone who can help with this one?

Try Winkey + R, msconfig in the boot tab set it for safe with networking using the check box. You will have to go back in and remove the check to boot normal.

I have done this but when I tried the password it was the same. To get out of it I had to restart. Now I can't get in at all. What do I do?
