A code from Microsoft was sent to my secondary email address , but when i activated the code it asked a series of questions and to the best of my knowledge i answered. The 3 that i mentioned in my previous post was accurate

I don't know what exactly went on with that process.

I am wondering why the others here are interested about your Windows activation - or not. Maybe, they know a way or ways to help you recover your account. Try them.

Win 7/Win 10 upgrade bought from PC World? So you bought it some years ago with Win 7 from PC World, then upgraded satisfactorily.

If so, perhaps you face an unexpected activation problem after reinstalling. If so, that could be sorted out. Do you have your Win 7 license code? Is it retail? OEM?

If it was purchased some years ago as Win 7, there is probably a sticker on the case somewhere with the key.

    Maybe the OP could look?

@Tbeloyal - can you look on the case to see if there is a sticker with the key on it?

Dalchina. I signed up by going to the search engine and keying in outlook.com. I did not create it internally as i am NOT technically minded. It has NOTHING to do with the system as i mentioned several times. I explained over a million times it has to do with Microsoft being deliberately nasty. I just have to accept i will need to cut my losses. Thanks for all your contributions , i truly appreciate it.. If anyone has any truly imperative contributionsto make which is not off topic and will directly addresses my concerns towards successfully helping me get my account back , i will truly appreciate it.

@Tbeloyal - my comment was about your license issue. Clearly you regard that as off topic and you are offended by my comment. I suggest no one here addresses your license issue further.

    Good luck with outlook.

And thank you for your reply.

No one here can deal with Microsoft for you on your behalf. It just cannot be done. So, as you say, cut your losses and move on.

    Best of luck...........

Just for a bit of clarification...Currys/PC World is a major electrical retailer here in the UK.
The vast majority of their PC hardware sales are going to be OEM licensed (single machine installation, non transferable), rather than transferable full retail licenses.
Much of the old W7 stock was upgraded in store to W10 to take advantage of the 'time limited' free upgrade (even though you can still upgrade from W7 to W10 for free to this day...)
So in the absence of further input from the OP hopefully that clears up some of the issues, although the OP might well have additional info on top of that that is relevant.
From reading the thread I'm still not sure exactly what the timeline is and what has/hasn't happened...

    @Tbeloyal,
Please understand, I'm not trying to throw you off your issues. I just think it may play into why you are unable to recover your MS account. Let's try another tack; can you log into your MS account online via browser successfully or no? If yes, then perhaps you can use that login to login into your windows installation. If no, if you have saved your passwords in your browser, you may be able to recover it by creating a local account and then take ownership of your Microsoft account in your previous profile and then copy over the browser's data into the local account and see if you can find it that way.

I think when it comes to Microsoft and issues such as mine, they use the same oil to fry all. What i mean is , if someone has set up an account in a rush and just thrown in details just to get it moving , than they are up to no good , therefore to not entertain them if an issue presents itself. My account was set up for hobby perpuses and not to troll or cause disruption. As mentioned earlier i have had my twitter account for over 5 years which i have put time and effort , it was also a place where i could display my art . I have also met some friends that share similar interests. Now i have no way of getting in touch with them. I tried re-creating another twitter account to alert them of what has happened and was immediately blocked as trying to duplicate my existing account
