Microsoft deliberately making it difficult for me to obtain my account

This comes as a result of 4 days of share and utter frustration and annoyance at the handling of my issue from 14 online staff and 4 calls .

I created an account a few months back When i filled it out the personal details was not correct - I was in a rush and it was silly of me . Anyways i did not remember my twitter account was linked to it and just recently it was compromised. I tried to contact yourselves and provided ACCURATE details ie - The 3 emails addresses i would have sent communications to . I also provided ACCURATE TWO passwords which will have been used for that account. Plus i provided an ACCURATE subject title of the email i sent . But still Microsoft escalation team have rejected my form.

This has been going on for 4 days - all the communications i have had with your advisors have been nothing but EXTREMELY unprofessional . They have just reiterated what i told that all i have and they have been sending me round in circles. They even wanted to do some troubleshooting - which the system is not the issue. The Escalation Team just seems to hellbent on not providing me with my account back and i need some advice

Hi, iI believe you think this forum is run by MS staff.

Unfortunately it is not- we are users, like you, each with our own frustrations.

Unlike many MS staff we try to give relevant rather than rote answers, albeit limited by our own experience or lack of it.

    Sorry about your problems.

Maybe this could help, assuming your problem is that you can't sign in to a MS live account:
Reset Password of User Account in Windows 10 | Tutorials

More on accounts if you search
Windows 10 Tutorial Index | Tutorials

I expect someone who's been through this will comment in due course.

Perhaps you could explain exactly the problem you have? Not able to log on to your PC?

The issue is not being able to sign into my account. The issue is obtaining my emails -it that makes sense. When i answer some of the security questions asked , (which are correct ) Microsofts escalation team does not investigate , they are just hellbent on sending the same regenerated email which does not address my concerns. The emails are never personalisied and i feel they have people in the team just banging them out and closing them . It is NOT a PC issue. It is Microsoft being difficult

Dealing with MS and it's support people was never easy. If they don't have a ready answer to a question, you have to go higher up to get anywhere.

    Hi

I have requested a manager call back on severals and when i do get one , either it is an advisor posing as a manager or i was lied to and told later ( when i call for a follow up) that the person i had spoken to was in fact a Sales Representative. I spent over an hour speaking to Christian M online with what i was lead to believe was the manager to find out later he was a sales rep. When i get through to a department , they keep transferring me to the switchboard who are the most rudiest people i have ever come across . The receptionist talks a millions miles a minute in her attempts , the minute one tries to talk , she hangs up . Unless you are a business customer, Microsoft does not want to know.. I think they even treat their business customers despicably to be honest. In the past they where incredible. It has been recently they have been absolutely awful and unprofessional.

I am not some random troller or just setting up accounts to create havic. My account is set up for the purpose working on my hobbies

So, all in all, are you trying to say that you can't log on to your account because you lost/forgot the password? And, that any available DIY recovery method, for some reason, is botched?

If that's the case, then I had similar experience with Yahoo. I created an account in the early 90's. I forgot the password because I seldom used it after Gmail came out. Later, I thought I wanted to claim the account just to have a classic. Afterwards, I spent YEARS writing Yahoo from time to time to no avail. If I happened to be communicating with a real person (I think), he/she would be courteous but actually unhelpful - just like how one would experience when he/she seeks help in the official MS community. All lip service, no practical help. If you follow their instructions, you could even end up formatting your disk.

One time, a Yahoo personnel even asked for a copy of my driver's license to prove that I was the person I claimed to be. After I had sent them a redacted copy, I again got a system-generated reply sending me back to the same old cycle. I could imagine their concern to protect the account, but...

I remember during that period, I read more than once that Yahoo would release dormant accounts, so I was hopeful that I could re-register to get my email address again. I don't know about the others, but they never released mine.

What I did with the Yahoo issue in the end was to give them the middle finger, and abandoned the attempt for good. I want to fill this sentence with lots and lots of BAD WORDS for Yahoo, but I know I may not, so... you get the general idea.

No, that is not what i am saying. Ok , let me start over. I created an account . when i logged out and logged in again Microsoft would not allow me access to it.when i filled it out i was in a rush and did not fill out the information ;ie date of birth etc correctly . That was silly of me . It was not until recently when my Twitter account was compromised that i realised the account was linked to the one that i was not able to get into. However i remembered the 4 emails to the companies, the subject title i will have sent my email to , the two passwords i used for the account but still Microsoft pretains to be difficult

I even gave them my number to call to discuss , they never seem to be interested in resolving the issue

Yes, so any available DIY recovery method is botched?

they never seem to be interested in resolving the issue

What makes you think they are?

Perhaps, you can take a cue from my past experience with Yahoo and sort of prepare yourself for abandoning your account in the end.
