Get Live email address and connect that to existing Microsoft account

    Good morning all,

I have a Microsoft account and I use my Gmail address example@gmail.com to log in. I also use this Gmail address as my main email.

Lately I have started to move away from google and therefore would like a Microsoft example@live.com email address as my main email and also use that for my Microsoft account.

Seems like an easy task, but I am kind of lost how to accomplish this.

All help and advice is very welcome

    Thanks

    Bo

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think Windows live mail is still around. You can get one over Microsoft Outlook though as far as I know.

    Thanks Bavaria

Ah, ok, my parents still have live.com email account though.

When I go to outlook.com I can create a new Microsoft account, but obviously that is not what I want or need. I just need a email account.

You can create a new account with a new E-Mail from Microsoft, but that probably isn't helping you, because you don't want to create a new Microsoft account.
I don't know if you can get an E-Mail without creating a whole new Microsoft account.

Try Free email accounts | Register today at mail.com, has lots of choices of @ addresses and free. And don't forget your ISP has at least 1 address for your subscription and maybe 2 or more. Another choice would be the Vivaldi browser, free and offers an E-Mail address.

Thanks for the suggestions, but finding a free email address is not the problem.
