Required Sign-In reset to via Windows Update recently?

    huh?
All of the sudden ALL of my Windows 10 PC's needed a pin number/password when woken from sleep!

    Previously it was:
If you've been away, when should Windows require you to sign in again?
    Never

All of the sudden, like every PC was set to:
If you've been away, when should Windows require you to sign in again?
When PC wakes up from sleep

So then I had to go into the administrator account (if not in one already) to reset this value to Never!

What the heck was that all about?

    Hello Rasmasyean,

I find that it's not uncommon for some updates to reset some settings back to default.

It's always a good idea to double check all your setting after any update that changes the build or version number of Windows 10 to be safe.

The thing is, it didn't even say it was going to "update" something. It was like some "stealth" update or something. And it didn't even require any sort of reset to see the change(s). All you had to do was wake it up from sleep.
