    Can't Log In After Restore


    Having trouble logging into my WIndows Live acoount on my laptop after a restore. My upgraded WIndows 10 was recently corrupted and I opted to do a System Restore and keeping my personal files. Afterwards, I can log in as Administrator to my laptop. But I can not log into my MSN Live account. I have gone thru the process of resetting my password hundreds of times, even able to log into my MSN account from another device and get my email. But I keep getting reset password on my laptop. Also, I can log in as Administrator and see my User Live acount and files. Any ideals or hints on how to resolve? Thanks in advance!

    Just for clarification you said your Windows 10 became corrupt and you did a System Restore and opted to keep personal files.

    Do you mean you did a Windows 10 Reset?

    Now you said you can log into your Administrator account, is this a local account or do you log in with a MS account (Usually looks like an email address).

    When you say you can log in to your MSN Account from another device how are you logging in, through a browser or the Windows Live email product?

    On your laptop what product are you using to log into your live account, is this a browser. If a browser have you deleted all your browsing data? If you were storing passwords in that browser have you deleted or reset the entry for this site?
