How to make Windows 10 login Screen display users that are signed in

    Hi All,
In good old Windows 7 you could see who was currently signed in on a computer with multiple users. This was displayed on the login Screen. (see screenshot)

Name:	LoggedUsers.jpg
Views:	36
Size:	20.4 KB

But in Windows 10 you can only see the multiple users but not which one is signed in. Which is annoying cause you have to hunt for which user is logged in by other methods.

Does anyone know how to make Windows 10 show which of the users are currently signed in from the Login Screen ?
    thanks

    1. Press the Windows logo key + R simultaneously to open the Run box. Type cmd and press Enter.
    2. When the Command Prompt window opens, type query user and press Enter. It will list all users that are currently logged on your computer.

Thanks, that was one of the workarounds that I already know about.

Feels like that feature has disappeared from Windows 10 logon screen. Can't seem to find this on here or any other forum.

What is this 'query' command? My computer has never heard of it.

'query' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Puzzling. It is only recognised by Windows 10 Pro.

    Otherwise, on Home,

Probably something to do with the potential to enable Remote Desktop Services [with which this command seems to be associated].

This, and many other issues, could be properly resolved if MS could be bothered to get off their arses and issue a Windows command reference like they did for previous Windows versions.

@vgkfan83 Thanks for responding, at least I know now.
