Have Windows ask for password or pincode at startup

Not sure if this goes here or in User Accounts etc. but it´s system security, so.

I want my computer to ask for my pincode every time I start it up and when it comes out of Sleep or Screensaver. When I Google this question I get 10 million hits on how to DISABLE the login password, but I need it ENABLED.

But for some reason Windows wont let me.

I can set a windows password or pincode in Settings- Login, but when I restart the PC it goes straight to desktop, skipping the login-screen.

    Please help, thanks.

You were given answers on how to Disable sign in. Yes ?
So, use the method BUT do the Opposite. That would Enable sign in. Right ? Or did I misunderstand you post ?

Anyhow here is the tutorial on How to Turn On or Off Require Sign-in on Wakeup in Windows 10

Will one of those 5 options work for you ?

Unfortunately no, I tried all 4 solutions, but when I reboot, it blinks at the login-screen then goes to desktop.

Have you tried this tutorial before ? ………..
Sign in User Account Automatically at Windows 10 Startup

It has 2 options, both offering the choice of automatic sign in or password required sign in.
