Removing pin sign in windows 10 64 bit.

    Hi folks,

Just installed windows 10 64 bit and I have set up a pin to sign in, though I would now prefer to go straight to desktop from boot, to save a little time.

Is this possible I wonder and if someone would be kind enough to point me in the right direction.

    Many Thanks
    Joe

The PIN is connected to the Password, usually for the Microsoft Account, so to accomplish your goal I'd try removing the PIN and the Password but that may not be a viable choice. It may be easier to establish a second User as a Local Account for logging in. Only downside I have is logging into the Store but then I haven't had a pressing need for it yet.

The PIN is just a replacement for your password. Removing the pin will revert back to your password....which you will still have to input when signing into windows.

To go straight to the desktop without having to sign in, you will need to use netplwiz.

Thanks a lot guys, easy and painless, a few mins to change, and straight to desktop from boot.
    Thanks again.
