sleep wake up with no password

    sleep wake up with no password


    hello what im after is a way to start the computer when its in sleep mode in windows 10 when im not at home so i can use a remote to assess the computer but im getting stuck when restarting asking for a password.
    im using task scheduler to create task to start with no problem then use "netplwiz" to set up no password but you still have to press a key to enter windows any suggestions plz.

    I'm not sure that's possible as the remote client has to be active in order to remote access it. I've used Teamviewer for a long time now as I don't like MS cumbersome way of doing it (remote access). With teamviewer both client PCs have to be active (up and running) to allow remote access.

    Teamviewer fully supports WOL (Wake on LAN), which allows you to boot a system remotely, and supports Log-in events when set up for this, so you can control a suitable system that is shut down

    WOL is dependent on system setup and available hardware ( usually default these days is compliant ), and can also be set-up from within windows to work with Windows remote access, although it does need a two stage system - wake up the system and then remote into it.
