One thing I have had to do, was that I verified that I'm an adult by using my credit card. Have you guys done this already?

I'm not sure how to get this popup to show, but once you get it, it's a simple and straight forward process. You just enter your card details, MS charges a 0.5€ fee, which they transfer to any of your family accounts of your choosing. After this all should work fine. If I understand this process correctly, it is even possible to manually transfer the fee back to your card/bank account.

I had a few glitches managing my kids permissions until I did this, but ever since the verification was completed all has been working great.

    Hi

Thank you, I think we verified everything years ago. We've been using the family features/accounts probably since 2015. Only since 1803 has this loomed up. I make purchases all the time on my bank card (mainly on xbox store). As you mentioned I wouldn't know how to make the verify bit pop up again. I am tweeting a guy at MS about this although he takes many days to respond so it's not going anywhere fast. He said corruption can happen and to clear the applocker folder on the computer of it's contents. But a little strange that it happened on multiple PCs. Anyway I did do this and thought he had fixed it as on a restart after there was no pop up as i logged into my account. However as soon as we logged into the other user accounts on the PCs the folder was rebuilding itself and on the next restart/cold boot the problem was back!

Try cleaning up the folders again on all accounts, one by one, and using this command to reboot your computer between each account cleanup:
    Code:
    shutdown /r /t 0
This command ensures that FastStartup leaves no cache or traces on your HDD. FastStartup is known to cause a lot of weird behaviour for some users.

Thanks. I'll give that a go one by one on the user accounts. The applocker is a system32 folder in the windows folder. So it's the same one will be emptying each time but it's worth a go.

I turn fast startup off as soon evertime there is a feature update. Pointless on an SSD, irritates me that MS seems to enable it again everytime there is a feature update!

Unfortunately this didn’t work. Clearing that folder out initially works to stop that error box but as soon as we start using the other user accounts on our pcs it rebuilds and the problem comes back. Trying to put pressure on the MS family geek on Twitter. Not saying it’s affecting everyone but my colleagues / extended family are getting the same and few people on my ms answers forum thread have added ‘I have same question’ so it seems something is hosed in the 1803 update. As it seems more of an aesthetic error in that we see no other side effects I will try and put it to the back of my mind!

Have you had any success with fixing that up?
