Enable or Disable Collect Activity History in Windows 10 enables or disables the ability to Turn On or Off Collect Activity History for Timeline in Windows 10.

Enable or Disable Timeline in Windows 10 enables or disables the Timeline feature that shows your activity history. If disabled, it also clears your activity history on the device.

I have done all the steps at Turn On or Off Collect Activity History for Timeline in Windows 10
Uncheck [Store my activity history on this device]
Uncheck [Send my activity to Microsoft] (Note: My PC does not have this row so I skipped this step)
Turn off every row under [Show activities from these accounts] (Note: My PC does not have this row so I skipped this step)
Press the [Clear] button under [Clear activity history]

Does that mean I can skip the steps in these 2 links Turn On or Off Collect Activity History for Timeline in Windows 10 and Enable or Disable Timeline in Windows 10 because I have already done the steps at Turn On or Off Collect Activity History for Timeline in Windows 10 ?

What is the difference between doing OPTION ONE [6. To Disable Timeline] at Enable or Disable Timeline in Windows 10 vs Uncheck [Store my activity history on this device] at Turn On or Off Collect Activity History for Timeline in Windows 10 ?

Are both steps doing the same thing to prevent activity history from appearing in Task View?
