    1 more option via CMD:
    Code:
    fsutil behavior set disableencryption 1
    A definitive solution, some reported, that disabling it, did not stop the encryption.
    Disable the service, but make sure to decrypt files first so you can access them.
    Code:
    sc config EFS start= disabled
    net stop EFS /y

    It would be very nice and appreciable if you added screenshots so users can manually navigate to the Registry Editor and created a 32-Bit DWORD value and set the value to 1 to disable NTFS Encryption in Windows. Please do that. Thanks in advance.

    Hello mate,

    The REG files available to download were created to make it easy to do for you.

    Otherwise, the note box provides the details on what to change in the registry if wanted to do it manually.
