    Thx for replie, I see, so there was no needs to create a WinRE partition with the script on first post . What was the reason for?

    Thanks for the fast reply and your clear explanations which I followed and all is well now. WinRE partition is at the end of the disk, immediately after the Windows partition and reagentc /info shows the correct infos.
    It's funny to read that even Microsoft recommends this layout but doesn't apply it ...
    Hi Kari,

    A little addition to my post #27 above: starting Windows 10 2004, Microsoft adapted the disc layout in the right way as the WinRE partition is now placed behind C after a clean install.
    Tested with Win10 2004 - Build 19041.264 (see screenshot):

    Hello,
    I've been trying to partition a GPT disk with diskpart using the command lines that you can see in the following screenshots:

    DISKPART - How to Partition GPT disk-1.jpg
    DISKPART - How to Partition GPT disk-2.jpg
    DISKPART - How to Partition GPT disk-3.jpg

    Riservato=Reserved
    Sistema=System
    Primario=Primary
    Rispristino=Recovery

    The problem is that diskpart creates 2 MSR partitions, one after the ESP, as It should be, and the other before the ESP.
    Is there a way to avoid or fix that?

    The first MSR partition is created automatically when you run the convert gpt command. Immediately after the convert gpt command, delete the MSR partition that was created.

    convert gpt
    select part 1
    delete part override

    It works like a charm, thank you

    Hi. I am new here. 🤜🤛

    So, just for curiousity, I am about to install three different version of Windows 10. Should I create recovery partition after each Windows 10's partitions?? 🤔🤔

    If I did created them, what would happen in the future??
    And if I didn't, what would happen too in the future??

    Ps. Sorry for my bad English. 🤜🤛

    I wouldn`t create any Recovery Partitions.

    Will these installs be on 3 different drives, or all on the same ?

    You could always use Hyper-V to create 3 VMs each with the different version of Win10. Probably a lot quicker and easier. You could also have them running concurrently if you wanted.
