Can someone plz help me? my computer shuts down too fast. What do I do?
Hello eebra, and welcome to Ten Forums.

You will have to be an administrator to create the elevated task that plays the sounds at shut down, but it will play for any user that performs a shut down.

This is indeed the tricky part. The sound file needs to be something short (ex: a simple ding) since Windows does usually shut down so quickly.

It can be normal for a slight delay before the sound plays depending on what's happening in the background while shutting down.

Each step is critical for it to work, so you might double check the task with each step to see if anything may not be correct.

    What issue are you having?

This tutorial in the first post here is for playing a sound at shut down.

If you like, you can use the method in the tutorial below to play a sound at sign-in.

Uh, Brink? my computer takes a bit of time to shut down and plays the sound after 1 second. Is there a way to make the sound play earlier?
