Heya,
This doesn't seem to work for MKV files. For option 1 no input box shows up after double clicking the field and option 2 only lets me remove tags, not edit.
The files are saved on the computer, not flagged as read-only and I'm logged in with an admin user account.
Any ideas?

Hey I have files that already have info, but I am trying to change just the "Artist" field so I can consolidate files. Every time I change that field, or any field, it deletes all other fields that were already filled out. Is there something I need to do before I change the properties? They are MP3 files.

When i change the title in a file properties it changes the subject to the same and i think vice versa how can i prevent this

My properties doesnt have as in your tutorial, in the column headings it has EVENT, but cant see that in properties details, wondered why, would be handy

The available details to see in a column in details view in File Explorer are generic. Not all file types will have the property detail available to edit.
If you like, you can remove the "Event" detail from the column, and add one (ex: "Subject") that may be more meaningful.

Ah that makes sense, PSD files have almost nothing in properties details, thanks for the info
