It has made a folder here:
    C:\Users\%username%\OneDrive\Music Files

    And a shortcut here:
    C:\Users\%username%\OneDrive

How do I see what folders are now synced?
If I go to the OneDrive settings > Choose Folders, it only displays the standard folders.

So, basically I am going to have a duplicate set of files on my C drive. Is that right?
I would rather not have my C drive fill up with music.
Odd. You should only have had the "C:\Users\%username%\OneDrive\Music Files" folder created as a linked shortcut to your "D:\Music" folder.

Here is the command I used. "Admin" is my username.

    Looks good.

Let's see what it looks like in your OneDrive folder to see if anything may stand out.

Have you already tested to see if files show in both folders?

Here are a couple of screenshots. One with Explorer and one with Directory Opus.

    @Stigg,

Explorer is showing the items being synced in the "Music Files" folder in your OneDrive folder, so is it actually syncing with your "D:\Music" folder?

    Also.
I just booted up another computer with the same login and it wants to sync also.
So I closed OneDrive on that computer.

Once the sync is complete, will both computers stay in sync with OneDrive?

I logged into OneDrive in my browser and the files are appearing there.
    It's still syncing.

So I guess the files are not really being stored on the C drive. It just looks like it.

It's most likely due to the folder being synced to OneDrive, so it can be accessed anywhere from OneDrive by default.

Thanks for all your help, Brink. Much appreciated.
I'll have another look at it once it has finished syncing.

    Hi Brink.
    I have one other question.

I have the same music on another desktop and a laptop.
What will happen when I boot up one of those other computers?
Will it try to go through the entire sync process again?

So far, I have quickly closed OneDrive on those computers to avoid any problems.
