I'm hoping that after you take ownership of the folders with the permission issues, you may be able to sync them with OneDrive.

Since you're having these issues with syncing to OneDrive, you might consider or test using Google Drive along with Google Backup and Sync installed on your computer to sync the folders/files with Google Drive instead. You get 15 GB of storage free.

I migrated from G Drive to OneDrive as it has 1TB space free with MS Office 365 annual subscription. My purpose doesn't get solved with G Drive. As I said earlier also, I'm sure there must be other people facing a similar situation. I'm not the only one.

I must admit that I'm not sure what may be causing your issue.

Other than starting from scratch with new folders to try and sync, I'm not sure either.

Hello bordel, and welcome to Ten Forums.

I'm afraid there's not a way to exclude a file in a folder or drive you set to sync with OneDrive other than keeping the file saved at a different location.

Even though they show sync pending, do they actually appear in OneDrive yet?

If not, you may need to manually sync OneDrive to update.
