    Hello!
Seems like this magic is not working for me.
I successfully link two folders, but onedrive just doesn't upload anything until I forced it to, like for example, by adding something on desktop (which is previously was synced by default).

Hello Daniel, and welcome to Ten Forums.

If you are wanting this for the Desktop, you could use the option in the tutorial below instead.

No, I specifically want to sync anything, but Documents, Desktop or Pictures.
    Onedrive just doesn't upload anything
As you can see, I have folder tmp33 which is both in OneDrive folder and original folder. I have files inside too, but it doesn't exist in the cloud, because Onedrive is not uploading it.
Looks like it doesn't check if something changed in this folderSync Any Folder to OneDrive in Windows 10-screenshot-2020-10-15-205638.jpg

Just to verify, are you signed in to OneDrive with your Microsoft account and have OneDrive running?

Of course I do, it just doesn't work automatically. I should do everything manually.
Is it suppose to be like that?

Here is small video to show what I did
Microsoft OneDrive - Access files anywhere. Create docs with free Office Online.

It looks like you have the folder successfully linked to OneDrive since the files and folders show up in both locations in your video.

It should also automatically sync to your online OneDrive as well unless something is preventing it. Your video doesn't show OneDrive Sync as paused, but if you are on a metered connection, it could still prevent syncing online.

The files and folder shows the sync icon on them indicating that OneDrive is going to sync them, but just not sure why it doesn't do so automatically.

You might check this below to see if it may be the issue:

    No, it didn't help.

However, the opposite solution works fine. If I put original files in onedrive directory and link it to somewhere else. Then all changes seem to be caught by onedrive and uploaded to the cloud.
    But it doesn't make sence.

Maybe it's new update or something

Could be, but at least it's an effective workaround for now.

I followed the guide from first page and then I removed some files on the Onedrive folder but it removed the files from my PC as well - is there any way to recover them?

Hello aletriss, and welcome to Ten Forums.

If you deleted the files from the OneDrive folder on your PC, you can check the Recycle Bin to see if they may be there to restore from.

If you deleted the files from the online OneDrive, you can also check the Recycle Bin there to see if they may be there to restore from.
