The MCT ( Media creation Tool ) "upgrade now " in place update from 10240 RTM to 10586.3 was smooth as butter on this PC . The link is at the Windows 10 upgrade tutorial *here below at 10 forums *

I belive the MCT will do an in place update or clean install or allow you to download ISO or USB media . The in place upgrade or clean install puts the same classificatiion Windows PRO or Home that you have .

The MCT USB or ISO media downloads *may or may not have* both options .

Microsoft officaial Download Links via 10 forums for MCT or USB or ISO 10586 Media :

No - a clean install will ask you to either type in a product key which will determine which version gets installed, or if you skip entering the product key it will ask you which version you want to install. Since it is a CLEAN install - what version you had previously has no bearing on it.

All of the options are available on the USB flash drive created and the ISO file.

Can't I add the product key after I install?
On a bare metal drive or othewise clean install on a machine that's never been activated maybe .. or otherwise if it askes you... I've had it both ways here with RTM 10240 using ISO DVD' s........ OTOH using the MCT (or MCT media ) probably not .

Both types of downloads are here along with the MCT .

Outside of a retail box or download the product keys and W10 activation are *usually machine specific* and tied to the M.B. not the hdd.

    Hello Rambo, :)

Yep, you would select International English for UK.

Kinda but when using a product key a clean install will only activate with the same type of valid product key (home or pro ) for the W10 OS you just installed on the hdd and on the free upgrades the product keys are machine specific no matter how you install clean or otherwise even on a new bare metal hdd .

IOW you cant clean install Pro and use a home product key or *usually get a non machine specific free upgrade .

Yes. Be aware that is English International. If you are United States then you would want English (US) for the language.
