In my 1st attempt from the media creation tool the file size of Win 10 Home 64bit Eng UK ISO was 3.11 GB , but i think the ISO became corrupt and due to that the burn to DVD failed...well wasted a DVD.

In my 2nd attempt from the same media tool the file size was around 2.44gb

What is the file size of this ISO file as i dont want to attempt another burn...and does anyone know the md5 checksum of this ISO file , just to verify that i have the complete download and none of the bits are lost during the download.

Media creation tool is not a proper download manager and evertime somethin goes wrong...and it reassembles the incomplete file

Hows this http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/softw...load/techbench different from the media tool download and why does it say "Windows 10 editions below are valid for both Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Professional"...and the total size of it is 3.8GB

If i use the link to download the ISO and burn that to a DVD will I be able to boot from it and clean install
Win 10 Home 64bit Eng UK(provided i have already done the upgrade...using media tool )?????

    Thanks!!!

Hello Prophet, and welcome to Ten Forums.

It sounds like something may be interrupting the download.

OPTION ONE just allows you to directly download an ISO instead of using the Media Creation Tool. "Windows 10 editions below are valid for both Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Professional" means that you will be able to install either the Home or Pro edition using the ISO. The product key you enter during installation determines which edition gets installed. If you "Skip" entering the product key in Windows Setup, then you will have an option to select which edition to install.

Yes, you will be able to clean install with a DVD or USB created from the ISO.

Yep, English international should include UK English.

Thanks...After downloading the ISO is there a way to confirm that the ISO is complete and not missing any packets and the burn to DVD will be successful.

If you can successfully mount the ISO and open it, then it should be fine.
