Awesome, good to know, thank you for the update as always.
Hello,
Is there any way to get the official Creators Update ISO that contains the install.wim file? How can I achieve this, please?
Getting the Creators Update using the Media Creation Tool brings me an ISO which uses the install.esd file, and this does NOT work with DISM.
Use DISM to Repair Windows 10 Image - Page 39 - Windows 10 Performance Maintenance Tutorials
Thank you.
I just burned a W10 ISO 64 bit a day or so ago to install on laptop and it's very different to the old one! Cortana talks you through it (whether you like it or not!) and there are less "custom" options along the way. However I connected to the Internet during install and all my drivers were there (except for 2), including Nvidia Graphics drivers once installation was complete. All good - but I guess this means I have the creator edition?!
What exactly is that? Do I need it? Do I have an option not to have it?!!!!!
At the same time I burned a new ISO disk for 32 bit and that is the same as my last one from last year - so I guess creator edition is just 64bit- is that right?
@Joanne
That's fairly easy. You would take that install.esd, copy it to a folder on another drive for safe keeping. Use Kari's tutorial to make an ISO, choosing option #1, WIM format. Works just fine.

Edit: Pulling the install.esd from the ISO created from an MCT ISO will not work. It must be the one in the tut. BEFORE restart.....
From the tut:
2.) When a new build is available, let Windows Update download it. When Windows Update has prepared the upgrade, you will be told a restart has been scheduled. At this point you can find the install.esd file which contains everything needed to make an ISO image in a hidden folder C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources.
