ISOs for Prior versions of Win 10?

Is there any source for a prior version of the Win 10 ISO?

Here is why... Did a fresh install of Win 10 Anniversary. When installing the Intel HD graphic driver for the onboard graphics with a laptop, received an error that the "latest version" of MS dot NET needs to be installed.

Checked regedit and found that I DO have the latest version 394802
How to: Determine Which .NET Framework Versions Are Installed

Since it is embedded in the OS, there is no way to uninstall that version of dot NET and then install a prior version. (Unless someone knows how to do this? Definitely not an Installed Update nor a Program and Features fIle to select for uninstall).

The driver definitely worked fine after an Upgrade from Win 7 to Win 10 a few weeks ago - prior to Anniversary Update. So, betting that the dotNet in that Win 10 was good (probably version 394254, but haven't checked - would need to restore from backup to verify), and would like to do a fresh install of that earlier version of Win 10 to see.

Cannot find any webpage from MS that would allow a download of that prior ISO. Perhaps others here know better?

May be a driver installer issue, but fat chance getting that addressed given the age of the laptop.

It is a usability issue as everything is rather large on the limited real estate of that small laptop screen.

    Thanks!

That's a nice tool but, it lists dates instead of build numbers?

I'm assuming that I need an ISO of Windows 10 64 bit, Version 1511 Build 10586.494 to run DISM on my corrupt system (upgraded from Win 7 Ultimate). I have 1511_1 ISO which I've used many times in the past with success, but now it errors (0x800f081f - The source files could not be found). So I'm assuming a recent update changed the build number and caused this problem.

Is it trial and error on these downloads to find the right build? Or is the build number not relevant?

I have no desire to upgrade to 1607 (again).

Go back to any date prior to the anniversary update (which was Aug 2.). Install that. Then hide the anniversary update:

you should then get the cumulative update to 10586.494.

Good info Navy. Can't rep you for that one (have to spread it around). Brink has a tutorial on that here as well.

All great info. That downloader seems to be the ticket. Since the tool looks remarkably like the Microsoft ISO download site, are they sourcing directly from MS realtime, or are they drawing from a library of their own saved versions?

Thanks for the tip on suppressing the Anniversary update too guys.

Thanks. I've tried several different 1511 builds now and no joy. Also tried ESD from backup on C:, and the image created with MS Media Creation Tool. Every single one fails with 0x800f081f - the source files could not be found. Looks like it's either live with it as is or do another clean install.

Thanks. Should be a quite useful tool to have in back pocket for some time.
