OK, thanks. I should be able to handle the rest of the repair process, and if the issue isn't fixable, once I have the ISO, I can resort to a clean install.

The timing of your message is interesting. The e-mail notification came just as I was finishing up moving the freshly downloaded ISO to a "safe" location on my HD. During the download, an issue occurred to me, but that one belongs in the DISM thread.

Today I tried to download the iso from android and Ms gave me direct link for 24 hours. The iso has both home and pro together. I send the link at pc and changed my yandex browser to inform sites that is Samsung phone s3 with a chrome addon and downloaded the iso in half hour. Just to inform if anyone has problem with media creation tool.

My research has led me to the conclusion that I need to download an ISO. Since most of my computer knowledge is a decade or two out of date, I just want to make sure I understood the tutorial correctly. If I understood correctly, the ISO can just sit around on my HD until I have a chance to burn it to a DVD. Is that correct, or do I need to get a blank DVD or a flash drive before I start the download.
The downloaded ISO file can be used at any time to create a bootable USB Drive or DVD so you don't have to either to hand before downloading the ISO file.

Are the ISO's still the 10240 build or has MS officially released ISO's with a later build?

RTM is only at 10240 for ISO files right now, but OPTION THREE has the Insider build 10565 ISO if you like.
