How to convert an existing ISO of Windows 10 Pro 32+64 bit to HOME SL?
Unfortunately you can't. You will have to download SL separately.

Hello folks, Media creation tool didn't work for me, neither I have the Get Windows 10 Icon on my PC!

I will try to Upgrade to W10 using the Direct ISO File. My question is, is it legit to install to W10 using ISO ? I mean I will no have no problems in the future right ? & Plus is it still working or are people having problems withe ISO since I read that many said that the ISO file gets corrupt while downloading. Thanks!

    Hello ayeitsashish, :)

As long as the Windows 8.1 is activated when you upgrade to Windows 10, you're Windows 10 will be activated afterwards.

The ISO should only get corrupted if it was interrupted while downloading.

Hey Brink, Thanks for the reply.

Interruption in which sense? Mustn't I let the download pause? I am downloading the file using IDM which has resumeable abilities! Hope it doesn't cost any problem. Though at one point I saw the download speed speed falling all the way down to zero, pausing from some brief seconds and then resuming on its own! 😃

Yep, anything that stops the download could corrupt it. It's best to let it download non-stop until finished.

If you continue to have issues with the ISO, try downloading it without any download manager.

Hey Brink, after the download have finished, Can I mount the ISO file directly using a third party software like Daemon Tools pro ?

And All I have to do is the run the setup as admin right ?

    ayeitsashish,

If you are in Windows 8.1, you can natively mount the ISO to upgrade with. :)

It's been 3 hours since I ran the setup after having downloaded the ISO file! Why is it taking this much time ? Is it normal?

You may have some sort of corruption. Did you disable or uninstall any 3rd party AV program first?

If you still have hard drive activity, then it's usually best to let it sit until finished.
