    LOL, no problem mate.

If you have any issues with it downloading for you, just let me know. I'll PM you a link to download the ISO file from my OneDrive.

Thanks so much, no need, I already downloaded both the 32 and 64-bit ISO's.
Now to burn them to DVD media which I prefer to USB drives (I always misplace those somehow).
The big test will be when I do the fresh install on a blank partition. Something I have on this old Alienware machine stopped the 1803 update.
I'll tell you how it goes ;-)

Well it's not good. It started installing OK (from the sources folder setup.exe - I did this from Win7) and did it'a first reboot and went straight into that black screen with the blue 10 window and the DVD activity stropped altogether....it just stopped dead. The only clue I have is this popup I just got in Win 7.

Personally, I prefer to boot from a USB to clean install Windows 10.

If you're trying to upgrade Windows 7 to Windows 10, then you could try any of the options below at step 3.

This was a fresh install on a formatted partition
7 will stay here until they have to wrench it from my cold dead fingers....LOL
I relinquished Vista with a lot of cursing as that (Ultimate) was the best OS ever IMHO.
I could try creating a bootable USB drive I suppose.
Dammit, I wish I knew what was doing this.

If you still have a problem with the installation, then please go ahead and create a new thread for it in the Installation and Upgrade forum area. I'll be happy to try and help.

That failed too and good old Windows 10 got fed up with all the hard power downs and ups and sent all 12 of my various partitions in to a chkdsk frenzy.
    Sigh.
I am too exhausted to start a new thread right now. I'll consider it later.
After all, I may win the lottery and get a new OriginPC system.....the accent is on "may".
    Pigs also might fly....LOL
    Thanks again ;-)

Hello! I was wondering, if I downloaded the ISO, can it be used more than once? For example, the installation failed, then I tried installing again using the same ISO file.
