hello, I am trying to find command line parameters of MediaCreationTool to put them in a batch file to download any version of Windows 10 and to create ISO directly

    Example:
    Code:
    .\MediaCreationTool1803.exe
    /Download
    /Web
    /Eula Accept
    /Retail
    /MediaEdition Professional
    /MediaLangCode en-US
    /MediaArch x64
    /Action CreateMedia

    etc..
This does work pretty well but they are many others parameters
Does anyone has a full list of parameters with their meaning ?

Special thanks to Brink and all contributors to this one - the solution for the 1803 upgrade disaster.

    Hello @D4ni3l,

Would Option Three help for this for you?

    hello Brink,

Option 3 is one way, but sending a configured bat file to a "normal user" is so simple and more powerfull
he executes it and gets the windows ISO he needs, even any type of GVLK

    thanks

I wiped one of my Windows 10's (simply a test installation) because the 1803 update would not install despite following all precautions I could find on the internet.
I think I followed the 1st option correctly but when I boot to it the installer simply hangs at the blue window/black background phase.
I was told elsewhere that the ISO the MCT creates isn't a complete OS any more, is that correct?
The other 2 10's I have are stuck at the pre-1803 level too, but will leave them alone until I master the art of doing this properly.
I found a slipstream method onle but it looks rather complicated to me.

    Hey Peter,

The ISO created by MCT is the baseline for the current version available, but there will always be some updates to do afterwards.

Thanks Shawn, maybe I'm being impatient.
Is it normal for it to hang forever at that blue 10 window symbol and the black screen with no progress indicator at all when using it to create a new installation? I've tried 2 and although there's no trouble booting into them they won't install a fresh copy of 10.

It's not normal to see no progress indicator.

Is the size of the ISO file correct to indicate if it has successfully downloaded completely?

Your Internet speed in your specs should be plenty fast enough to have it downloaded in a few minutes.

You might see if using Option 3 may give you better results.

OK Shawn thanks. Yes the ISO downloaded properly. In it's untouched form it is 3.46gb.
I'll look at option 3 then, thanks.
