Thanks. It looks like those who speak the Queen's English need the English International option!
The latest MC Tool simply downloads the exact same build but with all of the small updates rolled into it as opposed to the November release where none were seen. That's why the 10586.xxx number will continue to change. The first MC Tool would certainly be the item to toss however being for the 10240! No thanks! You likely would be redirected to downloading the updated MCT anyways.
The MC Tools are actually named differently to avoid the confusion anyways.
The "Upgrade Tool_GetWindows10-sds_______exe" for the 10240.
The TH2 November_MediaCreationTool.exe being quite obviously the Threshold 2 Update downloader.
And then you see the Updated_MediaCreationTool.exe for the subsequent updated TH2 build where each newer set of updates has been rolled into it.
Here I found having several browsers actually gets me past the Unable to Sign In page problem fast and easy. While Firefox or other 64bit variants will stall Opera, Pale Moon, and a couple of others always seem to make it. I found that also works out for the separate Insider build ISO downloads now being as well as for the Tech Bench site.
Thanks.
I've now downloaded file Win10_1511_2_EnglishInternational_x64.iso from MS Techbench. This contains setup.exe dated 27/04/16 version 10.0.10586.0. What Windows version is this and how many updates will be needed? My laptop which is up to date has version 10586.318.
