Hide or Show Status Bar in File Explorer in Windows 10

    I must admit that I'm not sure why the status bar isn't showing for you with your settings clearly set to do so.

    Aren't you going to ask me if I cropped out the status bar just to mess with you?

    A repair install would probably fix this, but you could wait to see if the next update may sort it.

    I'm with Prof59 here, I've not had the Status Bar for a while on Win 10 on my Desktop (Since I upgraded to Win 10 if I recall, as it's been a while) yet my Laptop is fine.

    PC went XP-7-10 and Laptop I got second hand with 8.1 on and I upgraded to 10, although it's Home on the Laptop and Pro on Desktop.
