The tutorial below can help show you how to reset Windows 10 if you should decide to.

I tried Change Name of User Profile Folder in Windows 10, and ran into two problems:
- Step 4: This sentence is incorrect: " Make note of the SID (ex: "S-1-5-21-237214570-1361766723-3061440971-1015") for the account (ex: "Brink2") you want to change the name of its user profile folder. "
Easier to see without the parenthesis: "Make note of the SID you want to change the name of its user profile folder." (problem is "... of its ...").
- Step 6: "Substitute SID in the registry key path above with the actual SID (ex: "S-1-5-21-237214570-1361766723-3061440971-1015") from step 4 above for the account (ex: "Brink2") you want to change the name of its user profile folder."
The problem is that the SID in step 4 is the same as is mentioned here. So, substitute # with #. (In addition, this sentence also have the "...of its ..." error.)
I just realized another potential problem (at least for me):
In Step 6, it says: “Substitute SID in the registry key path above with the actual SID …”
The expression should be “Substitute … for”, which makes me wonder if the author means “Substitute a for b (remove b, insert a) or “Replace a with b” (remove a, insert b).
Would greatly appreciate clarifications on the above, since I badly need to change my Users name.

Hello Hans,
The parenthesis is needed in step 4 to specify what is in the parenthesis as an example.
The note in step 6 is just telling you to substitute SID in the command with the actual SID # from step 4 for the account you wanted.
Brink, since you are basically repeating what you said before, I have still no idea what you mean (the Engluish expression is till "substitute ... for", not "substitute ... with"). Words matter
But I will take a look at what you wrote originally, and try to understand it.

Simply to just replace SID in the path with the number from step 4 like in the example and screenshot for that step.
I believe I had succeeded, and while I checked that OneDrive was in my new Users name folder, I may have gotten it wrong. Kindly help!
The error message is "C:\Users\softc\OneDrive\Desktop is unavailable. ..."
The, a QuickAccess window appears and showed this:
Desktop Downloads Documents Pictures
OneDrive This PC OneDrive OneDrive
plus the same error message.
What do I need to do?
