Greetings. This will no longer work and User cannot be removed so far. TrustInstaller has been installed in the key you are referring 2 and no changes can be made. I have been to the key you are changing and it is a no go now. I have run your bat file 4 times, another one once, went to the registry key and found the trustedinstaller there which is plugging up the whole thing. Now I can not find where I was because the web site will not come up in search so U all just might not believe me. This no longer works at all.
    Hello,

The registry key added by the REG file is not there by default.

The CLSID key this gets added to is not showing owned by TrustedInstaller for me.

Are you using the REG files in the tutorial, or manually setting it?

Do you have Show all folders turned on by chance?

Is it possible to update the guide / reg keys for those of us on Windows 11 / Insider builds?

The reg keys no longer work on the latest build (Preview Build 25211)
    Thanks!

    Hello, and welcome.

Yeah, this doesn't work well with Windows 11 and the new File Explorer.

Currently, it's quite buggy on Windows 11 for some reason. I'll keep checking, and will create a new tutorial for this at Windows 11 Forum when it's no longer buggy.
