    Audio CD

    Hi
    Hope you're well
I've recently been having problems with my Laptop when it comes to playing and burning CD's. Basically exactly what this person has said in the link below

Computer changed DVD/CD Drive to CDFS and won't play discs Solved - Windows 7 Help Forums

Someone named Jumanji replied to this post and another said it worked.
I'd like one for Audio CD or CDFS file.

    Thanks :)

    Brink,
I made a change to my NTUSER.DAT by accident. I changed the association for Type and Opens With to Adobe Acrobat Reader. I know this was not a good thing.

I was able to reset the Type File back to DAT FILE. I am not sure how to fix the Opens With:.

I found your tutorial, How to Restore Default Apps for File Type Associations in Windows 10. I used option one to change the file association. I am not clear if step two will restore the Opens With to the default or if there is another way I need to use to make this change.

What is the correct File Type Association for NTUSER.DAT? Is it Default?

    Thank you for your help.

    Hello Nils,

Downloading and merging the .reg files for dat and Open with... in the table of Option 2 should restore its default associations and Open with in the registry.
