You're most welcome KingSol. I'm glad it could help.
"One thing I forgot to add is the confirmation message that is returned from the Registry Editor. I have rarely, if ever, modified the registry.

    Registry Editor

The keys and values contained in C:\Users\KingSol\Desktop\Unassociate_etl.reg have been successfully added to the registry "

That's normal. Merging the .reg file modifies the registry.

"I've been reading up on the registry lately. I plan to periodically backup (export) registry hive:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts
just in case I accidentally make another boboo . I think exporting and importing (merge) a single hive would be better than to backup and restore the entire registry."

    Default File Type Associations

    "Hello @Arkyquest,

All you have to do is copy what Brink sent you to your desktop. Right click on it. a context menu will appear. click on MERGE to complete the operation.

Prior to execution, you should backup your registry or set a system restore point. Hope that help."
