Odd. Do you have an active Window (ex: game or File Explorer) open when you press Win+G?

As a test, what happens for File Explorer?

I must admit that I'm not sure why the game bar is not opening for you.

Do you have the latest Xbox app version updated from the Store, and the latest build of Windows 10 installed from Windows Update?

You would just need to check for updates in the Store to make sure they're updated. :)
