yes I cleared everything, and running your reset tool also cleared everything. Maybe some sites like do not generate the prompt? for example Hulu.

Also I think there is a setting in the cloud that is interfering. As all passwords were cleared but it still filled them in. Weird.
Most sites will also save your password to a cookie saved on your PC from the site.

Deleting all your cookies will clear this, but resetting Microsoft Edge would have done this as well.

But option 1 does not save passwords of https sites. Is there any way to save passwords of https sites?

    It does for me.

    For example, our site https:/tenforums.com

It may the site itself not letting it be saved. Is this for a specific site, or all https sites for you?

I am mentioning about netbanking sites. A few sites are not saving in firefox also. But a few sites allowing saving in firefox are not saving in egde.

It does sound like an issue with the site itself for this feature. Personally, I wouldn't recommend to have passwords saved for any banking sites for security reasons.
