    How to Turn On or Off Start Magnifier Automatically before Login in Windows 10

    Magnifier is a tool that enlarges part—or all—of your screen so you can see words and images better. It comes with a few different settings, so use it the way that suits you best.

    Starting with Windows 10 build 16188, you can have Magnifier start automatically before login for all users. If this is turned on, Magnifier will run on the lock screen and sign-in screen, but will not continue to run after the user signs in to Windows 10 unless the user turns on Start Magnifier automatically at login for their account.

    This tutorial will show you how to turn on or off to start Magnifier automatically before login for all users in Windows 10.

    You must be signed in as an administrator to turn on or off start Magnifier automatically before login for all users.

    Hello Dan,

    I'll look in to it, but for now, you can press the Win+Esc (Escape) keys to turn off Magnifier.

    @Brink

    I made a batch script today to add the Magnifier Auto Start to the context menu, the batch script can be placed anywhere.

    Dan,

    I have a method I can use to turn off Magnifier from a context menu by killing its process. This requires you to be an administrator, and prompted by UAC to use. Would that be ok?

    That will work then for you then. I'll have a new tutorial for a context menu option sometime tomorrow. I'll let you know when it's ready.
