    It appears to be a file system limitation instead.

    To me, Storage Pools seems like an updated version of the old Dynamic Disk feature.

    In case it would help people, my issue that dalchina refers to (separate thread) relates to a limitation of NTFS and Microsoft has laid out a table of needed Cluster Sizes for Storage Space arrays here:
