Free Up Drive Space in Windows 10
If you delete the Windows.old, $Windows.~BT, and $Windows.~WS folders, you will no longer be able to go back to the previous version of Windows.

How to Delete $Windows.~WS folder in Windows 10
If you delete the $Windows.~WS folder, you will no longer be able to go back to the previous version of Windows.

Go Back to the Previous Version of Windows in Windows 10
Keep everything in the Windows.old and $windows.~bt folders after the upgrade. This means to not delete these folders, and not check the Previous Windows Installation(s) box when using Disk Cleanup.

Consider updating and clarifying this sentence: (and | or | and/or)

If you delete the Windows.old, $Windows.~BT, and $Windows.~WS folders, you will no longer be able to go back to the previous version of Windows.

    Could it also be:
If you delete the Windows.old, $Windows.~BT, or $Windows.~WS folders, you will no longer be able to go back to the previous version of Windows.

    or

    Could it also be:

If you delete any one or more of these three folders, Windows.old, $Windows.~BT, or $Windows.~WS folders, you will no longer be able to go back to the previous version of Windows.

Hi Shawn, Windirstat is obsolete- abandoned years ago. It does have an odd bug.

Wiztree which you mention does everything it does- tree and cushion map- and is updated quite frequently.
