Hi Shawn, alas this MS link points to a 404 message..Download the troubleshooter from the Microsoft Download Center:
404 - File or directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.
Ref:
Show or Hide Updates Tool - is it still available?
Can be downloaded from e.g.

This 404 error was reported on the MS forum on 6th February, with the OP advised to use the Feedback Hub to report it.

The download buttons in option 1 and 2 should provide a direct download of a wushowhide.zip file from the site for the wushowhide.diagcab file.
I left the KB3073930 webpage link just for reference. Hopefully, the download link at the KB3073930 webpage will be fixed by Microsoft soon. Until then, I'll provide a direct download link here.
How does the wushowhide.diagcab work? Like it seems to be some kind of file used by the troubleshooter, but I'm not sure what exactly it is.
Also, if you're able to just delete the wushowhide.diagcab after using it, how does your system keep the information of what updates are hidden? Is there a registry key or some file somewhere that tracks it?
Hello,
If you like, using WAU Manager is more effective to enable/disable automatic updates and hide/show updates. This way you can hide any before they get automatically installed.

Hi Brink.
just wanted to let you know that MS recently re-released the wushowhide.diagcab tool that is now digitally signed with SHA-2 (sha256) signatures instead of SHA-1
use this new version instead of the old one
