I have the wushowhide.cab file. I want to hide the vid. driver that WU keeps installing, but it's not listed. What am I doing wrong?
Hey Clint, :)
You might see if this below may help instead then.
Enable or Disable Driver Updates in Windows Update in Windows 10 Windows Update Activation Tutorials
Microsoft has today changed the status of the 'Features update for Windows 10, version 1709' (the Fall Creators Update).
Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (1709) Fully AvailableMicrosoft said:
Today's announcement seems to be the equivalent of old system where a features update would be moved from Current Branch (CB) to Current Branch for Business (CBB). Based on my experiences of hiding previous features updates, when the status of an update is changed it effectively becomes a new update as far as Windows Update is concerned. This means that if you had previously used wushowhide to hide the 1709 update, you will most likely have to hide it again.
Alternatively, as 1709 is now considered ready for the Enterprise, you may decide it's ready for you too. If so, you should not need to unhide it to get the update.
Is this "hide/show updates" fix compatible with Windows 10 ver. 1709?
Hello KabyBlue, :)
I just checked on my Windows 10 v1709 build 17604 system, and it still runs fine for me.
