    Thanks @Steve C
I'll stop looking for resolution on this.
Did your PC installed update KB4565351 OK? If so what build do you have?
    Frank
I'm on v1909 and that KB installed OK. My DISM scanning issue predates that update.

I assume you were on build 18363.959 before the update and now on build 18363.1016?

Do you mind to help me with my issue and run "dism /online /get-features | more"
or "dism /online /get-features" to see what I have missing on my system?

Have you considered doing a repair install on your Windows. You can do a Windows repair and keep all your installed apps if you follow Brinks tutorial to the letter. It would completely repair your current version of your Home version, keeping all your installed apps. If you have a image backup program like Macrium Reflect, just make a complete image backup 1st. You can use the free version of MR if you don't have it. Then using Brinks tutorial do your Windows repair install.

Thanks for the tip, yes I restored (fresh) two weeks ago: Reset PC that removed all my applications but left some personal (Documents) that I already had backed up with File History. Took me one week to get my two Office versions reinstalled and Acrobat8.1, it also installed 16 Windows updates (supposed to be 1 commutative update!) with over 50 Office updates so I a not going through all that again as many with the same build as I have reported problems installing 11 Aug KB4565351. Can you compare your features with mine to see what is missing: "dism /online /get-features"?

Its over 90 entries ....too big to post in my opinion. Nothing like your small list. It shows both enabled and disabled features.

    Hi Mike
Select all in Edit and then copy, open Excel and paste the list in a worksheet, then parse text to columns using | (pipe) as delimiter. Click on top row and select Filter, click on the column state and select Enable, copy that to your post.
    See below, thanks a bunch.

KB4565351 installed OK today, not sure what the problem was. I haven't tried the two DISM commands yet.

Has anyone checked how much disk space they saved after doing this? I know there would be many factors, but just wondering about a ball park number.

    Hello,

You can use the method in the tutorial below to analyze the component store to see its current size of items in it to help get an idea. In addition, you can use this method to compare before and after for an exact amount recovered.

    Hi Brink,
Hello and thank you for this terrific site ....... wish I found it sooner.

Darn, I just did a cleanup two days ago and didn't know about the AnalyzeComponentStore option. Will have to try it on a different PC and report back. Guess I missed it the first time I read the OP.
