I have never had a problem on any device.

Like all things have an offline image backup as a precaution.

Aside from uninstalling default apps, optional components, I run this cleanup after windows updates.
My system partition has 18GB, it could be 15GB, but system restore bootloader takes about 3GB.

ResetBase was disabled (it can break updates) and even if you enable it via registry, it is supposedly not working.
But only in case of offline servicing - right?
At least in my last (online) tests, the command did (according to the cbs.log) something - interestingly independent of the "DisableResetbase" setting.

But where is the difference in the first place?
StartComponentCleanup without "/ResetBase" deletes "updated components", with the switch "superseded versions" were deleted.
    Isn't that basically the same?

    Thanks and greetings,
    Martin
