Windows 10: Store - Re-register in Windows 10
I'll give that a try.
Re-register Apps failed messages
I used Step 2, pasted the code into PowerShell. I got a screen full of red 'failed' messages. Will try to upload a screenshot.
I sized-down my screenshot, uploaded it and tried to attach it. Before doing that I deleted the attachment Brink, sorry. Now the smaller screenshot doesn't seem to attach.

Reason: attach smaller screenshot
Having trouble with the screenshot. Why does the screenshot appear in the preview but not in the post?
Flight Team Leader
Might be too big... take it to paint and resize to 80%, then again to 50%. Then re-post it. Gotta be under about 3.5 MB
Once you upload the image, you have to click on the paperclip icon again, and select the uploaded image to attach it.
See step 11 in OPTION TWO.

Does the app work now?
I can see the image listed in Additional Options, but when I click the paperclip icon to attach it, there is just a blank dropdown list, with nothing to select. But it does show up in the preview.
My Weather app still will not open.
My Microsoft Jigsaw, Mahjong, Solitaire windows will open, but they continue to try to connect, without success.
These are still the same as they were before.
In that case, you might see if doing a repair install may sort it without losing anything.
Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade
Thanks, but will leave it for now.
Having read the instructions, I think I'll leave this computer as-is for now. It is my work computer and I have a 'user-acquired' Timesheet app for use in my work Windows Accounts. Looks like that would not be preserved if I do the repair install of Windows 10.
The apps that are not working on this computer do work on my Surface, so I'll use them from there.
Thanks so much for all your help.
How to Reinstall and Re-register All Built-in Windows Apps in Windows 8 and 10
This tutorial will show you how to reinstall and re-register all built-in Windows apps for your user account or all user accounts in Windows 8 or Windows 10.
I've seen a couple of comments saying you can't register as an Insider, but I just wanted to say I've done it today and it still works, just in case it helps someone.
What you can't do (well not officially; I imagine there are workarounds) is...
My PC email and my Xbox email are different and I don't want to make a whole new account on my PC for this to work. I'm on build 10240.
Sorry if this a confusing lol. So when I go to the store on my pc and download one of the games that say Xbox...
